Puffs From Pucks
Puffs are a great on-the-go snack... and these ones you can feel great about because there is no preservatives... just whole foods and ingredients you can read.
Mix these little cuties up for snack time, to give to friends, or to have on hand for errands (cause we all like a lil snack when we're out and about!)
Recipe
3 Root Veggies Boom Baby Pucks
1/2 Cup Ground Oats/Oat Flour
1 Tbsp Fat (coconut oil/avocado oil/ghee/lard)
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 Egg Yolk
Pre-heat oven to 250°F. Thaw Boom Baby Root Veggie pucks in a bowl and set aside. Grind your oats and measure out 1/2 cup into a mixing bowl. Add your baking powder, fat (I used the pig fat we render down aka lard, yum yum), egg yolk, and your thawed Root Veggie pucks. Mix until combined. Add to a baking tray (mine is from the dollar store) or make small balls and place on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 minutes, cool and enjoy.
Makes 24 puffs.
Lasts in fridge for 5 days or at room temperature for 2 days. Could also be frozen!
